The story about North Koreans in Ukraine or Kursk seems just one more in a long, long, long series of ridiculous lies that are usually exploded within days or hours.
The calculation is presumably that Westerners, at least, are so stupid and insouciant that they will go on believing such stories even after they have been refuted. There is nothing new about such a tactic.

The Western mainstream media are getting to be about as credible as the broadcasts of Dr Goebbels.
I think the answer to Mr Mercouris’ final question is too simple for him to descry. The “government” (for want of a better name) in London is wholly and completely driven by ideology, to the exclusion of facts, figures, logic, and common sense. Oh, and basic decency. The same pattern is clear with regard to “Net Zero” (obviously suicidal if it worked, and unworkable), immigration, free speech (where??), and everything else.
