It is the jealousy of Europe over Russian recourses that made it so easy for the US to promise them the spoils of the war. Now that the outcome of the war is inevitable, they are unwilling to show this, but it will be presented to rest of the world, regardless of what they do.

Democrats are Not about saving Congress, completely different animal. I have a little different take. There is not a chance that the Democrat Party will be damaged as much as theDuran says. There are heavyweight Democrats that can easily step in, sweep Kamala Harris aside, and secure the Democratic Nomination. They will not have all of Biden’s baggage to deal with which, as we know, is significant. It will be a “fresh start” if you will, and will benefit the Democrats quest for the Presidency.
