Bernie Sanders: Stop Funding Israel

Although Bernie Sanders was compromised when he let the Democrats bully him into submission at the 2016 Democratic convention, his voice on ending US support for Israel is very welcome now. I don’t agree with what he says about the Oct 2023 Hamas attack, which I see as a heroic act of resistance, but Bernie couldn’t say that. Nevertheless, every American of any party or none who understands the danger of Israel and its Lobby to their country and to themselves personally should call on their Senators to support Bernie’s bill, Senate Resolution S.J. 138 and S.J. 32. I recommend sending your senators something like this one I sent to both my Democratic senators, both of whom support Bernie’s bills. I would send a vehement letter opposing your senators, whether Republican or Democratic, that voted against these bills, accusing them of being puppets of Israel.

I am writing to you in support of SJ 138, and SJ 32, the Bernie Sanders bills to stop sending bombs and bulldozers to Israel. Until now, the Senate has been unfortunately controlled by the Israel Lobby represented by such pressure groups as AIPAC and the ADL who threaten senators from either party who try to assert US interests over those of Israel. Thank you for standing with the American people.
