Every word of Trump’s Truth Social post below is a lie. The Iranian government has officially denied that there have been any talks, direct or indirect, between Iran and the US. What actually happened is that Trump threatened to destroy Iran’s power plants if they did not open the Strait of Hormuz in 48 hours, and Iran responded the next day by saying that if he does this, Iran will take out the whole civilian infrastructure of the Gulf states. If this includes the desalination plants it would result in millions of civilian deaths. Trump backed down, responding instead with this lie, just in time for the markets to open on Monday. So Trump now says he has postponed the attack for five days while these nonexistent negotiations proceed. The lie has apparent worked with the markets. The NYT reports that the DOW has jumped 700 points. Meanwhile, Iran has issued its own non-negotiable demands, which aim at ending the US presence in the Gulf and its control over the Gulf oil emirates and Saudi Arabia. If they want to get their oil through Hormuz, they are going to have to play ball with the regional hegemon, which is Iran. Iran demands the withdrawal of all US military installations from the Gulf region and the removal of all sanctions within sixty days.
In other news, Bibi is shown in an interview talking about missile attacks on the Al Aqsa mosque and accusing Iran of having attacked it. This is an obvious false flag. If Al Aqsa is destroyed, it will be Israel that did it. Trump and Netanyahu have been reduced to these transparent lies out of sheer desperation. Alastair says that the attack of Feb. 28 was the result of a huge intelligence failure by Mossad. They did not understand Iran as a 3000-year-old ancient civilizational state which evolved into an Islamic republic. They did not understand Iran’s deeply laid plans and preparations. Now they are in a trap and there is no way back.
