I look so much forward to hearing Robert Barnes, a true gem. I can only hope, in vain surely, that this camera hog in London will shut up long enough and let Robert speak. As I have said every time I point this out, the man is withouot question gifted and worthwhile, he just cannot shut up and seems unable to let anyone else fully free to express themselves. Great video today. Perhaps this has all been “Trump Theater,” including the faux anger toward Putin and even India’s Modi. We all underestimate Trump’s ability to play 3D chess. When you listen to this debate, you realise, with a sinking heart that EVERYONE, all the leaders in Europe and the President of the US and other leaders like Erdogan, are just like children! Re Putin confirms Merkel had no intention of honouring the agreement from the get-go based solely on her (imo weak, seemingly forced) statement: If we’re going to use his actual statements as proof ie. comments about betrayal in ’22 then those statements have now been overridden by his much more recent comment of August 8th: “The European Union has completely lost its political and economic sovereignty.” Assuming we can never take his actual public statements for granted (could be mis-direction) then doesn’t his second more recent statement override his first, or at least cancel it now, and this is presently… Read more »
