Anthony Aguilar: Trump May Resign – But First, All-Out War With Iran?

Anthony Aguilar is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, a Special Forces Green Beret who served as a combat infantry officer for 25 years in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Jordan, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. Aguilar worked as an aid contractor for Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), and became a whistleblower as he exposed the atrocities.

Tony Aguilar says that if USrael attacks Iran, it may respond not by targeting the Gulf states but by targeting Israel and US bases in a much larger region as well as US naval assets such as aircraft carriers. Iran may well have longer-range missiles than it has revealed so far, enough to sink those carriers. I think so too. The Gulf states are not the cause of this attack and further destruction would be pointless. I would hit the US and Israel with maximum force.

On US politics, Tony points out that J.D. Vance wants to be President, and his best chance is for Trump to be removed by the Senate or to resign, in which case he becomes President, and can pardon Trump like Vice President Ford pardoned Nixon. He has positioned himself for this by his recent posts saying the Iran war was a mistake. Trump may finally go for such a deal as Nixon did, hoping the pardon will shield him from the legal consequences of his lawless presidency.
