Putin Treated Like a Rockstar in India at BRICS

Indian diplomat says the BRICS meeting over the weekend was a huge success. Russia and India are headed for major economic integration. Putin was there for three days, a long visit to a foreign country very unusual for Putin. There are hopes for resolving differences between India and China and great prospects for economic integration there as well. India is not going to fall for Western attempts to use India to destroy BRICS. The Indian diplomat emphasizes that BRICS is an economic alliance, not a military one. It is peace-oriented and may eventually develop institutions like an improved United Nations no longer under the control of Western imperialism.
