Is Norman Finkelstein Correct? Are Tucker Carlson and the Anti-Israel Right “TROUBLING”?

I strongly agree with Glenn Greenwald that it is a canard to call so-called right-wing commentators like Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Green “anti-Semitic”. The American anti-Zionist movement is and should be non-partisan. No American patriot (which I am) who is against control of our country by a foreign nation with its own purposes should be called “anti-Semitic”. In fact, calling these right-wing critics “anti-Semitic” precisely serves the evil purposes of the Zionists who want to discredit them. I understand Norman’s fears, because I too see a revival of “anti-Semitism” taking place because of the Zionist genocide which they are perpetrating in the name of all Jews. All these Hitler-lovers are coming out of the woodwork saying “See, we told you so. Look at how those insidious bastards have taken over our country. Hitler was right all along!” Yes, that is happening, but it is a very grievous error for Norman to blame Tucker Carlson for this instead of praising him for his absolutely truthful statement you can hear below. Tucker sharply distinguishes between the nationalist ideology of Zionism and repudiates its claim to speak for all Jews. Norman should be wholeheartedly joining Tucker in the struggle to free the United States from Israel and the Israeli Lobby that has been so instrumental in getting us into this disastrous war with Iran. This is one thing that all Americans should be together on, whatever their political differences. Glenn excoriates the attitude of Finkelstein and other “leftists” who cannot escape the left-right paradigm even in a situation on which left and right now agree, saying that only the “left” is genuinely against the genocide, whereas people on the “right” are only pretending to be against genocide and are really “anti-Semites” at heart. To say this is to play right into Zionist hands. Norman should know better.
