“Look at the Dow… look at the Dow!”
As we examined yesterday in: US/Israeli War Plot Sickens, Trump’s bully threats to Iran escaped him with regard to Wall Street impact; or Trump’s tactic was to use a Monday morning megaphone fake news announcement to boost Wall Street share values, while suppressing oil market spot prices. Regardless, conflicting messages emanating from the White House and War Department reflect a bizarre ideology which combines former CIA head Angleton’s Wilderness of Mirrors [1] with Mega-corporate Disruption Theory.
Michael Parenti’s observation that, “The Empire expands while the core bleeds” is proved in tandem with the western Big Club leaders, that might cause even George Orwell to blush at their duplicity. Thus the former United States is ruled by an Emperor, beholden to the Money-Changers of the Temple and blackmailed into war and destruction that defines the US/Israeli “existence”.
Overall, Washington embraces this fraud, inherent to the wilderness of mirrors defined by its covert services, and to whom its political and donor class are beholden. In other words: Washington is a lie. For example, the United States attempts to obfuscate that the US (and its henchman Israel) initiated this aggression and war versus Iran. Likewise the revolving Fed-Treasury / Wall Street door defines corruption at the heart of power, namely America’s monetary chicanery.
Another example, before Wall Street opened Monday the 23rd of March, Dow Futures were flashing red, foretelling a disastrous open, where share markets may have plummeted, causing a potential for cessation of trade. And that cessation of trade would be directly linked to the Washington/Israeli war on Iran.
With oil market spot prices trending higher, something had to be done. So, to rescue Wall Street, the US announced negotiations with Iran were underway until this coming Friday, when share markets conveniently close. In that manner, the US may continue to leverage attacks on Iran over the weekend of March 28th. The five-day window will allow Israel cover too, so that Israel’s militants may bomb and kill, regarding their attempt to occupy Southern Lebanon.
But while the US leader proclaimed a lull in the fighting Monday morning, and spoke of “direct negotiations”, Iran called out the statement as being a lie. That is, in truth there are no direct US negotiations with Iran. And there is no “lull” in the attacks, as CENTCOM “confirms that U.S. military operations against Iran, part of Operation Epic Fury, continue with sustained strikes targeting Iran’s military capabilities.” Likewise Israel’s military continues to attack Iran. QED, the United States is one massive lie… lost in a wilderness of mirrors based on the lies of its own duplicitous making.
Militarily, there can be no halt to US/Israeli aggression versus Iran, because Iran has demonstrated resilience in its air defense, for one thing. And since the former United States is sending the 82nd Airborne and Marines for a potential ground invasion, five days might allow Iran time to re-group and re-organize in anticipation of that. At first I believed Trump was lying again about a ground invasion, but AFDS and AIS intel reports indicate that US troops are on the way, and may perhaps be staged in five days time. See: https://theduran.com/us-ground-troops-to-attack-iran/
While truth may be the first casualty of war, the extent to which Washington has taken its lying and deception to this epic degree is unprecedented, even considering its own history of almost continual war. Even if a previous leader was mentally incompetent, the United States has not been so apparently ruled by a madman (and his similarly deranged and corrupt cohorts) before. Point being: Why on earth should Iran “negotiate” with a lying entity that has already engaged in bad faith negotiations on many occasions?
Iran has been steadfast in resisting US corruption and graft for many decades, where even the Shah was aware of US/Israeli deception and duplicity. Any rational human being aware of the manner by which the US Warfare State does its business and operates, must understand that negotiation with the former United States based on good faith, is impossible.
Meanwhile, if truth wins out and the president of the former United States is shown worldwide to be the liar he is, will Wall Street shares crash while oil prices rise? Via the gaming and duplicity that defines the western monetary system, such honesty in the markets has yet to be seen. The only hope is that the Gulf Fiefdoms, Donor Class, and parasitic “state” that enables it — via a thoroughly corrupt western monetary / banking system — will eventually be relegated to a footnote in history (even if a supremely deadly one) like Sparta of antiquity.
A further question arises of course, as to how Gabbard and the US intelligence services could so misunderstand reality, and so under-estimate those who oppose the US theft regime. The disgrace? That the US covert service heads and their intelligence assessments may be so inaccurate, and their strategy of strategic incompetence, will soon be proved tactically incompetent as well. The west and its “ally” – actually an enemy – represents a stain on the world, where theft, graft, and corruption must only result in defeat.
Certainly the complex disaster Washington DC has created for itself by its unprovoked aggression (after fifty years of trying) is known to the world. And shows the west to be the dangerous unhinged beast that it has long been, long before March 20, 2003; and long before the inevitable Blowback of 9/11.

awesome reputation nurtured over the years by word of mouth and
intermediaries padding out of his office with pronouncements which we seldom
professed to understand fully but accepted on faith anyway.’
