Weekly intelligence roundtable with Ray McGovern and Larry Johnson. Larry is predicting there will be an attack this weekend, and cites unnamed sources. Ray thinks that the negotiations with Iran are not fake, and that they will continue as scheduled on Monday. He gives many reasons that such an attack would be a disaster, and Larry agrees with him about all of them. Yet Larry is still predicting an attack this weekend, whereas Ray says that negotiations will continue in Vienna on Monday as scheduled, and he is ready to bet (two dollars) on it. Larry did not take him up on that bet. I’m with Ray. Of course, nobody knows for sure what will happen, but I am persuaded to bet with Ray that it won’t.
