What Netanyahu wants is regime change, which requires full US participation in a war. Bibi is going for broke when he arrives in Washington tomorrow. He must see that Israeli popularity in the United States is plunging. He may see this as his last chance to get the war of his dreams. He is damning the torpedoes. He will be putting maximum pressure on Trump with the nastiest Epstein episodes the Mossad can find for him. But Trump is looking at the polls, which are telling him that his MAGA base is deserting him because of his subservience to Israel and its billionaire Israel Lobby. The question is whether he will allow himself to be pressured in this way. As Ray McGovern says, the Epstein stuff is already out, so Bibi’s blackmail threats may not scare Trump enough compared with what will happen to him if he orders the war. I don’t think he’s an ideological Zionist. I think he’s transactional. Pressed by Bibi, he may just decide to throw him and his lobby under the bus.
