Max Blumenthal: Maduro Trial a Travesty

It is said that one can indict a ham sandwich, but this indictment should be dismissed before trial. That would be up to the Judge, who is an orthodox Jew 92 years old, with a record of independence on civil liberties and compliance on drug issues. Also, Maduro has Julian Assange’s lawyer Barry Pollock, not some Zionist sellout. This case is full of holes. The star witness is a big drug dealer. This case should be very interesting indeed. I especially look forward to Max Blumenthal’s reporting going forward.

The only way I can make this work is if the US government intends to delay trial indefinitely and keep Mr Maduro in jail. As they managed for Mr Assange for many years.

It doesn’t matter what the legalities are, or the details. Locked up out of sight is good enough.
