I would argue that you both attach far too much importance to western media and “PR” rubbish. If Russia (or anyone) were to respond to every bit of propaganda emanating from Washington or Brussels, then indeed all narratives would be reduced to an incoherent rollercoaster. Since you yourselves acknowledge here that various versions of some 20+ point plan were circulated from President Trump, then the obvious objective is to create confusion, not clarity.
