The bogus charge from the kangaroo court (which has the fingerprints of the unelected EU Commission all over it) was that Marine Le Pen siphoned off EU funds intended for her staff’s work in the European Parliament, to fund the activities of her party in France.
Unsurprisingly, Le Pen was sentenced to four years in prison, and more importantly, was barred from holding public office for five years, thus prohibiting her from running in the French 2027 presidential race.
