Well now, the UK guaranteeing the IMF loan to Ukraïne alomost fully explains the UK’s belligerence and obsession in supporting the war on Ukraïne! Until now, I could not truly figure out this dynamic, except for Boris Johnson’s folly in threatening or “persuading” Kyiv to abandon peace in Istanbul on 9 Apr 2022. My pet theory, and I don’t know about you, is that the decreased efficiency of autos (and airplanes?) allows the oil industry (Big Oil?) to profit off of selling more fuel just as the auto industry profits from selling cars.
