Many good points are made here, however this is a US-centric analysis that doesn’t quite get to the root of the issue and point out who the perps are. “The ruling class” oligarchs in the collective West deciding policy and commanding this broad geopolitical aggression are not necessarily Democrats or Republicans, nor do all of them operate from the US. “Follow the money” is the key, as he states. Of course it’s US-centric because who else is calling the shots? Now it doesn’t matter whomever is behind the scenes because the US can decide on its own to stop and say “no more”.
Colonel Macgregor laments the inadequate size of US land forces – but he also concedes that the defence of the USA can be conducted at sea and in the air.
Surely it would be wiser to shrink the army much further, so that it becomes impossible to start wars abroad. Thus following the advice of all the Founding Fathers who spoke on the issue.
Good point, but he is a military man after all and paradoxically despite his statements about the lunacy of the Washington establishment elite, he likes to point out the deficiencies of the US military.
