Starting to feel like the entire podcast is turning into a clown world.
Re the minerals deal… from Bessan comments this morning, it sounds like this deal is Trump’s proposal for binding the economic future of Ukr to the US in a way that Trump can present to US audience as a win-win deal. Bessant also suggested that Russia actions/threats on/to Kiev last night suggests that they may not be too happy with this arrangement.
When much of Europe is run by clowns, there’s no avoiding it. Just talking about Starmer, Baerbock, Scholz, Macron, etc is like going to a mental institution and trying to make sense of the inmates discussions. Not a very productive activity.
Take your drugs & take everything occurring these times as a theater of the absurd. Or a mental institution presentation. The session is called Technofeudalism Relax. We’ll take care of you.
To me the russians are very happy to do what they want & need to get transnistria back home and the Ukro litoral guarded at least.

For France and the perfidious Albion to make war VS Russia in the Ukraine?? (it’s a region) meets the classic definition of insanity. The Ukraine had all the might of the US/UK and NATO behind it and could not win. For the puny /badly-trained forces of Gaul and Blighty to attempt to take on Russia is more than just stupid in my opinion, but pushes the outer bounds of perceived reality to their ultimate limit.. Just saying.
Watching this after the provisional result of the German elections and it seems you weren’t very wide of the mark, Alex. It will be a pity if we get no more clown worlds with Annalena 360, but I’m sure someone else as stupid will loom over the horizon.
