GOP-led Senate Foreign Relations Committee votes to advance Turkey sanctions legislation on an 18-4 vote. Turkey vows “retaliation”.

On Wednesday morning the GOP-led Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted to advance Turkey sanctions legislation on an 18-4 vote, despite strong objections from the Trump administration. Senators Rand Paul, Ron Johnson, Ted Cruz, and Tom Udall vote against it.

At the same time, Ankara has threatened to take back US military bases at Incirlik and Kurecik in Turkey, the Turkish Foreign Ministry has announced, saying it would “reevaluate” their status.

Sanctions legislation had been stalled by the Republican majority Senate, with the Rand Paul leading the charge against the bill, in order to give Trump more time to make a deal with Turkey over its controversial purchase of the Russian S-400 anti-air defense system

United states have ended up in a very tough situation.
1. Sanction turkey and you risk losing a nato member And even worse to russia and china.
2. If you dont other countries might try to buy the S-400 From Russia, Because they
think Washington is bluffing.

Great! I hope that Turkey will leave NATO soon. NATO = North Atlantic Terror Organization

Chances are United States might make turkey leave nato themselves(small chance). United States are sanctioning everyone in the world will lead to them trading with baboons ( because no one else will be left).

Trading with baboons might be a good choice for the USA, as baboons won’t complain about expensive and bad goods (old fighter planes, expensive gas and other junk the US likes to export worldwide).

In the 19th century the British statesman Lord Palmerston said: “We have no eternal allies, and we have no perpetual enemies. Our interests are eternal and perpetual…”
Within a century the powers fought their first world war. A century on we look as though we are about to fight our third. Capitals should heed the warning of history.

This is almost exactly what George Washington said. His description of a dangerous alliance matches perfectly the “special relationship” with Israel. He wrote the word delusional applied to anyone who thinks nations can have identical interests.
