Aleppo has finally been liberated from ISIS-Al Qaeda. Obama has not given up on his support of Al Qaeda.
The US President decided last week to give weapons directly to unholy Wahhabi trinity of Al Qaeda-Al Nusra-ISIS in the hope that the Syrian conflict will rage on well after his departure this January.
Plan B, setting up a terrorist proxy state in the east of Syria, is also in play as witnessed by ISIS’s attack on Palmyra last week coupled with the EU’s “cash for Al Qaeda land” bribe floated to the Assad government.
None of this is lost of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
The United States avoids attacking al-Nusra Front in every possible way, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Wednesday.
The US position at talks with Russia on Syria might be explained by Washington’s wish to protect al-Nusra Front, the minister said adding that the talks with the US on Syria are ‘fruitless gatherings’.
Calls for ‘regime of silence’ are aimed at militants getting rest, receiving armaments, the Russian top diplomat added.
At the same time Russia hopes that the situation in Aleppo will be finally resolved in the next two or three days, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Wednesday.
“We’re in talks with militant groups ‘on the ground’ in Syria apart Daesh and al-Nusra Front terrorists.”
“Only the intervention of our Russian Aerospace Forces allowed the Syrian to stop this threat [Islamic State] with great difficulty and begin to push terrorists out. I hope that in the next two or three days the situation in eastern Aleppo will be resolved, we have created humanitarian corridors which were used by tens of thousands of civilians to leave, they have left.”
Addressing the western establishment media’s fake news reports that Assad is “burning people alive” in Aleppo, Lavrov pointed out that independent humanitarian organizations do not confirm such reports about atrocities committed in Aleppo by Syrian government troops.
“Actually, I do not know any firsthand assessments of independent humanitarian organizations, which have their representatives in eastern Aleppo. None of them confirms reports about committed atrocities, kidnapping of service-aged people, who are escaping from eastern Aleppo.”
