Mr. Mercouris is one of the few western analysts who cover these issues in a way that is worth discussing. He deserves credit for that. However, his analysis is wrong in two major points. He obviously does not understand strategic thinking the way it is practiced in russia and he does not understand eastern europe. But i can correct these errors. Let me elaborate. Russia only wants peaceful trade with E Europe. They know how expensive it would be to try to use force in any way

The US has had a lot of success with wielding its big stick to force the compliance of many people and many countries over the past decades so now it’s in a state of extreme nonplusment because Russia is standing its ground and drawing lines in the sand. Finally we now see and hear what is at stake with no ifs ands or buts .It is what I and many have been waiting for .The geopolitical chess game is over and the West especially the US know it . The US simply has to stop playing and quietly whisper that lets not finish this game because too much pooh in face would result.Are they up to the task is the bigger question.

Mr Sergey Lavrov is my favourite Foreign Minister , Mr Diplomacy and will not stand for idiots who cannot present a valid and calmly debate and watch out if you are caught out lying , you will certainly get taught a quick lesson in how to not bring a water pistol to a gun fight !!
