Russian energy giant Gazprom’s profits decline by 1/3

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia’s energy giant Gazprom said Tuesday its net profit under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in the first six months of 2017 totaled 408.05 billion rubles (some $6.9 bln).

In 2016, the company reported IFRS net profit of 625.4 billion rubles during the same period.
