MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian companies are interested in taking part in construction of a gas pipeline and a liquefied natural gas terminal in Morocco, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Thursday.

“Morocco is interested in Russia’s liquefied natural gas supplies and in construction of a regasification terminal, as well as in construction of a gas pipeline and the use of gas as a source of energy for power generation. A large-scale program for construction of gas-fired power plants is envisaged here and our companies are interested in participating in the implementation of these projects – we are ready to supply LNG, build a gas pipeline and a regasification terminal,”

Novak told the Rossiya 24 television channel in an interview.
