Steven Camarota and Karen Zeigler from the Center for Immigration Studies published new research, which should alarm Republicans to the glee of Democrats. The country’s laws and enforcement on both legal and illegal immigration will help shift 26 seats in Congress from red to blue in 2020.
Trump swing states like Ohio [-3], Michigan [-2], Pennsylvania [-2], and Wisconsin [-1] will have fewer congressional seats due to mass immigration in other states. Smaller blue states such as Minnesota and Rhode Island – like the red states of Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, North Carolina, Utah, West Virginia, and Tennessee – will each receive one less congressional seat.
Those positions will go to the large, blue, coastal cities through redistribution. For next year, California is set to gain 11 congressional seats simply because non-citizens are also counted in congressional apportionment. New York will acquire four more seats and New Jersey two. Texas, which is transforming blue, due to immigration and out-of-state youth, will gain four seats, just like Florida with its foreign-born section of 4.1 million. The Democrat strongholds of Illinois and Massachusetts will each gain one new seat.
According to Camarota and Zeigler, overall immigration is shifting political power into the hands of the Democratic Party and the metropolitan zones of LA, NYC, and San Francisco.
Earlier this year, the Atlantic pointed out that every congressional district with a foreign-born population exceeding roughly 14 percent had a 90 percent chance of electing Dem and only a ten percent chance of electing Rep. Both Axios and the New York Times admit that, at its present rate, legal immigration [alone] will continue to hand more of the electoral cake to Democrats. All of this, in my humble opinion, translates into an easy ride for the Democratic party. All they have to do is sell themselves to their base and to moderates as “the lesser evil,” and that’s it. Republicans will continue to feign opposition to the phenomenon, and the corruption will perpetuate itself through this mechanism/narrative until it’s rendered obsolete and a new one will take its place.

More people today distrust polls and “research” which have merely become part of political strategy now, an easy attempt at pushing a few psychological or emotional buttons. It’s always good to look at who’s producing them too — in this case, a pro-immigration outift. Enough said?
It’s not the same thing. Every conservative and nationalist know the game is rigged in favor of the liberals. They’re all complaining about it and they do take this research seriously. They know they’re slowly but surely being replaced.
The border wall has halted illegal entry, the electoral college isn’t going away anytime soon, a new voter ID law is almost guaranteed, and no one is talking about how many Dems are leaving their party (#WalkAway). So, while I’m not one to get my hopes up, I’m not eliminating them either…
Demonrats execs at state level have said, some of them, that they won’t enforce federal law, because it goes against their retarded liberal values. Where’s the border wall? Most of the work on it was for renovating the existing fenced places, not to create new sections of wall. Voting laws in the US are lax and not enforced. Trump’s second term is safe only if Clinton gets the nomination, but it’s not in the bag if he goes against Warren…
As I said, I’m not worried. New video footage regularly demonstrates more wall is actually being put up. Also, if you think Trump isn’t going to change the voting laws, you’re kidding yourself. The number of those walking away from the Dem party are bigger than anyone knows. And when Trump rallies in a blue state like New Mexico, a third attending are registered Dems. Plenty of that going on… Any leverage Pelosi had after having the impeachment vote, was lost by not handing it over to the Senate. As well all know, money is all important in American politics and right now, it appears that a significant number of voters believe that Donald Trump has the “right stuff” despite what Democrats in Congress may have to say about him.
I believe that President Trump’s voter base will rally and be even stronger in 2020. After the failed Dem attack on Trump via “impeachment” that did not work, Trump will get even more votes for his next presidency, in 2020, than he got in 2016.
Illegal Immigration needs to be stopped immediately & legal immigration needs to be frozen for a couple of year’s, until we figure this nonsense out.
