Muslims celebrate Eid in Moscow

250,00 worshippers came to Moscow’s Cathedral Mosque for prays at the end of Ramadan.

Today is Eid, the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. It is a joyous time for Muslims who break their month long daily fast at sundown.

Russia’s Cathedral Mosque in Moscow is among the largest in the region and can accommodate 10,000 worshippers.

On this occasion, 250,000 people flocked to the mosque for Eid as those inside and out united in prayer to celebrate the end of Ramadan.
