L’Oréal Paris just made history by featuring YouTuber Amena Khan, wearing her headscarf. It’s the first time a major mainstream hair campaign has featured a woman in a hijab.
Unfortunately for L’Oreal, Amena Khan also made history as being the first woman wearing a hijab featured in a major mainstream hair campaign to be fired after a series of anti-Semitic tweets were discovered.
Via The Gateway Pundit…
Last week progressive elites celebrated the hijab-wearing model in the new L’Oreal hair ads.
L’Oreal thought it was a good idea to show a Muslim who is not allowed to show her hair in public in one of their ads.
But then she got fired.
Mediaite reports…
Model Amena Khan made history earlier this month when she became the first woman wearing a hijab to appear an in advertisement for hair care, on behalf of L’Oréal Paris.
Then, someone found tweets she posted several years ago, per the Jerusalem Post, in which she referred to Israelis as “child murderers,” among other insults. She also called Israel a “sinister state,” an “illegal state” and hoped for the country to be defeated. Other tweets found the model accused Israel of committing “Torture. Murder. Rape. Genocide” and, quite falsely, noting that “Orthodox Jews themselves condemn the actions of Israel.”
Khan has since apologized for the original tweets, saying that she stepped down “because the current conversations surrounding it detract from the positive and inclusive sentiment that it set out to deliver.”
Amena wrote about “her decision” on Instagram.

Would she be fired as well if she would make anti-Christian tweets ? I doubt !

These are the swine who drop white phosphorus on refugee camps, and who recently shot a young Palestinian boy in the face with a rubber… Read more »
Canadian Human Rights Commission: “Truth is no defense!”
She’s a beauty and apparently smart.
What is L’Oréal thinking in the first place?
Again and again, ADL of B’nai B’rith scum won. Apologizing for what she had said was a big mistake. You never deny the truth even not for a L’oreal cover page
What she posted is true, but where the Jew is concerned the truth is no defense.
Why would a company like L’Oreal, targeting an Islamic demographic, fire anyone for appropriate and truthful statements about Jews and Israel? Boycott L’Oreal – for their malicious assault on people who tell the truth about Israel and it rather less than civilized people.
