FLASHBACK: Rose McGowan gushed about hollywood director and convicted pedophile Victor Salva “an incredibly sweet and gentle man”

Rose McGowan has been the point person driving the Harvey Weinstein sexual harassment scandal engulfing hollywood.

As McGowan’s #ROSEARMY continues to out the many LA producers, directors and film stars who engaged in transactional sexual acts (and in some cases much worse), McGowan has selectively forgotten about her affection for Victor Salva, a convicted pedophile who McGowan called “an incredibly sweet and gentle man” despite knowing full well that Salva had sexually abused a 12-year-old child star on the set of his film Clownhouse.

Perhaps the fact that McGowan worked with Salva for the film “Rosewood Lane” warrants a liberal left “pass” on condemning his pedophilia.

McGowan’s selective virtue signaling, and double standards about sexual abuse, makes her crusade against Harvey Weinstein ring a bit hollow.

It has emerged that a director once convicted of child molestation in 1988 incorporated jokes about child sex abuse into his new film.

Victor Salva – director of the Jeepers Creepers franchise – was sentenced to three years in prison in 1988 for abusing the 12-year-old child star of his film Clownhouse at the age of 30 as well as filming the molestation and possession of child pornography. He served just 15 months.

It’s now emerged that new film Jeepers Creepers 3 originally featured a scene hinting at the sexual abuse between a 13-year-old runaway, played by 21-year-old actress Gabrielle Haugh, and her stepfather through an exchange which sees one character sympathise with her molester.

“Can you blame the step-dad, though?” one character can be heard saying. “I mean, look at her. The heart wants what it wants, am I right?”

Critics have pointed out the disturbing exchange having witnessed the scene in advanced screener copies, however, the scene has been subsequently removed from the public version.

Speaking about his abuse, actor Nathan Forrest Winters said of Salva: “He spent the better part of a year grooming me and my parents. Developing the trust. It was very calculated, and a long process, as it is with most paedophiles.”

Winters, who is currently working on a documentary about his molestation and paedophilia in Hollywood, said: “The film will show my journey from victim to survivor. It is my belief that we as a whole in this country have been too afraid to face such an unspeakable topic and continue to turn a blind eye, which has allowed these predators of our children to go unchecked for too long.”

Yeah, I still don’t really understand the whole story or history there, and I’d rather not, because it’s not really my business. But he’s an incredibly sweet and gentle man, lovely to his crew, and a very hard worker.

With some people already alleging that Hollywood is hiding a major pedophile ring, Rose McGowan’s double standards about sexual abuse and rape have been uncovered. Even just bad game by an adult male towards an adult female is career-ending, whereas pedophilia is “not really my business.” The mentally unstable McGowan not only chose to work with but actively defended one Victor Salva. She was directed by Salva in Rosewood Lane, knowing full well that he had been in prison for child rape and pornography.

The release of Rosewood Lane came 14 years after the supposedly “brave” ex-Charmed actress took a $100,000 settlement from Harvey Weinstein over allegations of sexual misconduct (and now rape). When reminded in an interview about the film that “Salva is a convicted and registered sex offender,” McGowan called him “incredibly sweet and gentle.”

This hypocrisy has not stopped the post-wall leader of “Rose’s Army” from trying to renew her celebrity profile in a way that her subpar acting skills could not. She is throwing all her energy into resurrecting herself as a feminist icon. The attention she is being lauded with contrasts badly with the celebrity world’s relative neglect of former child actors Corey Feldman and Elijah Wood, who have both directly alleged sexual misconduct, even rape, towards children working in Hollywood.

So much for these people taking a stand against sexual harassment and abuse! Men like Matt Damon and Russell Crowe are being taken to task for undocumented accusations that they protected Harvey Weinstein’s reputation, but a verified defense of a pedophile has been brushed aside as irrelevant.
