CFR President Says “The World Will be the Battlefield” After Iran Escalation

It’s not going to be like Iraq 2003.

The President of the Council on Foreign Relations Richard N. Haass says that “the world will be the battlefield” following a dramatic escalation in tensions between the United States and Iran.

Fears of a wider war are rising after Iran’s Quds Force General Qasem Soleimani was killed during an airstrike near Baghdad’s airport.

Haass warned that those who thought any war with Iran would look similar to previous military campaigns were being incredibly naive.

“Make no mistake: any war with Iran will not look like the 1990 Gulf war or the 2003 Iraq wars. It will be fought throughout the region w a wide range of tools vs a wide range of civilian, economic, & military targets. The region (and possibly the world) will be the battlefield,” tweeted Haass.

He went on to assert that developments would lead to Iraqi authorities exerting great pressure on the U.S. to leave their country.

Fake news. They’re obviously celebrating Soleimani’s fall.

It’s the usual vile horse shit from AmeriCunts/NeoCunts, ZioNAZIs, ISIS/AQ/MEK Terrorists or their US/UK/Israel-Deep-State handlers.

Hmmm… these wouldn’t be the same Iranians that have been growing the real people’s movement (Make Iran Great Again) and whose demonstrations have been put down violently precisely by those like Soleimani — who was propped up by Deep State for decades. Recently the MIGA movement was gaining incredible momentum, but Solemani’s death now gives Iranian elites a “martyr” to distract the masses from a REAL Revolt.

On the flip side, I have also heard that Soleimani is the mastermind that designed the plan to defeat ISIS, ISIL, Daesh, the Israeli/CIA terrorist groups… and is therefore a real hero.

Almost impossible to know what to believe, with everyone spinning furiously…

Netanyahoo convinced Trump by sending him a ticking time bomb X-mas card with Soleimani’s face superimposed. Trump became so enraged, he started throwing Ivanka’s shoe collection at it.

The World is already a Battlefield since the USA waging their unending ‘War Of Terror’ + ‘War Of Economic/Financial Terrorism’ against the rest of the World….The corrupt rotten waning rabbid rogue Mafia/Terrorist Empire + Regime is still trying to force ‘Their’ deluded fascist slavers will on the World and if the World refuse to kneel down, they will torch the earth and let them all suffer instead. – That’s pretty much what’s going on.

Trump promises to destroy Iranian cultural sites, including Mecca in a slip of the mind. Then just in case, orders the National Guard to protect the American cultural sites of Trump and Adelson casinos and includes Graceland, just to cover all his bases.

Max Blumenthal described Trump as ‘Intellectual Lazy’, that’s the understatement of the century – That’s the reason he’s so easy to impress, manipulate, deceive + lie into with all those sweet talking deluded corrupt NeoCunts; ZioNAZIs; American-Taliban; Ideological Stultified Fanatics; World-Dominionists + Corporate-Fascists……around him. He’s by far the World dumbest Bond-Villain and that makes him so dangerous.

Well, we knew he was culturally crude and crass even before he was elected. Now we know he’s a full-blown Philistine, which seems to be appropriate in all senses of the word, other than clashing with the Israelites. Intellectually lazy just goes with the package.

Although Kerry certainly fit the Philistine bill as well to some extent, as he gleefully watched ISIS march on Palmyra unhindered and even with a little push from him.

Sort of sounds like a David adopts Goliath as a father figure Bible story.

Put it in a pop up book. Trump will love it.

Kerry /Cohen, like Trump, is a crypto-jew.
They need all Semitic and Middle Eastern culture destroyed so jews can enslave the remaining populations more handily.

This morning, the idea popped into my head of purchasing a MAGA hat and cutting the visor off, to make it into a sort of yarmulke and displaying it in my car’s rear window.

Then realizing I might be targeted in a pincer movement of humorless opposing forces, I chickened out.

I looked at the article itself as pure psy-ops, he doesn’t even BEGIN to unpack the real ramifications of the use of tactical nuclear weapons in the region, and the effects on Europe of displacing a population of 80,000,000+ people.
Iraq is going to be upset?? REALLY??? That’s the take-away from this?? Gimme a f*ckn’ break…PURE psy-ops.
He know no one gives a SHIT about Iran, and by stating this as the downside, he dampens conversation about the REAL ramifications. Hell it sure worked on this crowd, and they are supposed to be informed.

the more time I spend reading the comments here, the more I realize reading and posting comments is a complete waste of time. No one questioning how China might react to the US grabbing their main fossil fuel supplier? No questions as to how Europe might feel about a population larger than the combined populations of Syria and Lybia being displaced?? Right no problem, nothing to see here, right? No one questioning how Russia, the Baltic nations Pakistan and Turkey might react (and how Turkeys problems in this situation CLOSELY align with Russias, and NOT AT ALL WITH THOSE OF… Read more »

We’re simply happy playing 3-dimensional chess to Washington’s 2-dimensions. I barely managed to arrive at the 4th level of your 10-dimension variety. Be patient with us poor souls.

That said, trying to guess the ramifications of which you speak would be akin to calculating the multiple trajectories of the proverbial shit hitting the fan dilemma. When in such a situation, best advised to either 1) don’t stand within flinging distance or 2) have a pair of lineman’s cable cutters at the ready to cut the power.

its really not that complex, viewing a situation like this in the context of the other countries in the region is hardly ’10th-dimension” thought, it should be second dimension, right after “what are my countries interests, and does this action support or run counter to those interests”. And if the american people had been thinking THIS way for the last forty years, we WOULDN’T HAVE FOUND OURSELVES at this unfortunate juncture in the first place! I guess it is “thinking in the 10th dimension” for Americans and the “pundits” that pander to them, as americans have been brainwashed for so… Read more »

Ok, lets start small. Does anyone question the idea that Iran is a major fossil fuels supplier of China? Anyone?
Anyone want to unpack what THIS 2017 story was all about, and what it tells us about how Chinas interests in the region are affected by the US attack on Iran, and how China was trying to hedge against US/Iran aggression THREE years ago? So you think this action is not an existential threat just for CHINA? I can upack the others for you as we go, lets start with this one. 10th dimensional chess my rosy red ass.

Oil is what’s called a fungible commodity, actively traded worldwide. If I had the money, I could buy a tankerfull of crude today, even while in mid-transit.

China, Japan or anyone else, aren’t locked into buying Iranian crude. The ‘existential threat to China’ argument is lame. Try not to dilute the meat of your arguments with gristle.
