Boom Bust examines the Greek crisis, its history, humanitarian crisis and Grexit possibilities [Video]

Greece’s rock star finance minister Yanis Varoufakis has been hitting at the wrong cords. Since his leftwing Syriza party came into power in January, it’s been a tumultuous ride for the finance ministers that everyone seems to-love-to-hate. As a result, Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras announced on Monday that he had “reshuffled” the team handling talks with European and IMF leaders. Erin weighs in.

Then, Erin is joined by RT correspondent Ameera David to discuss what impact the Greece bailout agreement would have on US markets and European politics.

After the break, Bianca gives us a look into Greece’s timeline of economic crisis and how it’s resulted in a humanitarian crisis.

Afterwards, Erin sits down with Edward to discuss the chances of a Grexit and how austerity works.

And in The Big Deal, Erin, Edward, Bianca, and Ameera continue the discussion on Greece, specifically on why (some) people love Yanis Varoufakis and what kind of industries Greece can rely on in their time of economic crisis.
