With absolutely no hard evidence to show that Pro-Russian rebels shot down MH17, because well they have none, U.S. officials are now preparing for a script change to pin the blame of MH17 on a Ukrainian military defector.

From the LA Times:

U.S. intelligence agencies have so far been unable to determine the nationalities or identities of the crew that launched the missile. U.S. officials said it was possible the SA-11 was launched by a defector from the Ukrainian military who was trained to use similar missile systems.

This is the most powerful military on the planet with a budget of $650 billion, that so far has based its entire case on tweets and YouTube videos spliced together by the Ukraine Security Services.

Also keep in mind that according to Russian Defence Ministers, the U.S. had a satellite positioned directly above MH17 at the time of the strike.  Let me repeat that…Russian Defence Officials have presented the evidence that the U.S. had a surveillance satellite directly above the Malaysian Airliner right wet it went down. Coincidentally those same Russian Officials have asked the U.S. to release the satellite images collected above MH17.

No matter, evidence be damned…much like Colin Powell’s famous UN WMD speech or Kerry’s Syrian mustard gas claims, in today’s world, truth is irrelevant when you have main stream media in the back of your pocket. Which brings us to the sudden change in script.

As Infowars is reporting:

In an attempt to explain away the existence of evidence which shows Ukrainian troops firing the missile that brought down Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, Washington may be preparing to fix the intelligence by pinning the blame on a “defector” in order to absolve Kiev.

The U.S. State Department now appears to be shifting the emphasis of its narrative to discount the possibility that Kiev itself was responsible for shooting down MH17.

Blaming the incident on a “defector” would allow the U.S. to explain why the culprit was wearing a Ukrainian Army uniform when he shot down the airliner.

Award winning former AP and Newsweek reporter Robert Parry was told by an intelligence source that the U.S. is in possession of images which show men dressed in Ukrainian Army uniforms operating the Buk missile system which shot down MH17.

“That statement about a possible “defector” might explain why some analysts thought they saw soldiers in Ukrainian army uniforms tending to the missile battery in eastern Ukraine. But there is another obvious explanation that the U.S. intelligence community seems unwilling to accept: that the missile may have been launched by someone working for the Ukrainian military,” writes Parry, adding that, “We may be seeing another case of the U.S. government “fixing the intelligence” around a desired policy outcome, as occurred in the run-up to war with Iraq.”

Parry can hardly be dismissed as a crank given his key role in covering the Iran-Contra scandal for the Associated Press and Newsweek. Indeed, Parry’s investigative work on intelligence matters, for which he was awarded the George Polk Award, suggests that the information provided by his source is worthy of serious attention.

Over the last 48 hours, the State Department’s story has been widely discredited because of Washington’s inability and unwillingness to provide any type of hard evidence instead opting to base the entire case on social media posts and YouTube videos uploaded by the Ukrainian government and discredited as bogus by just about everyone.

The U.S. has since openly admitted that it had uncovered no evidence whatsoever that linked Russia directly to the attack.
