UN Security Council adopts resolution on Aleppo evacuations

The UN Security Council has unanimously passed a resolution requiring international monitoring of civilian evacuations from Aleppo.

The resolution, which was initially drafted by France and criticized by Russia, was able to get approved after Moscow and Paris held closed-door consultations for more than three hours on Sunday.
