Why I support America’s second amendment

During the long course of the US Election, Donald Trump received a healthy endorsement from America’s National Riffle Association (NRA). The NRA are a group dedicated to helping preserve the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution against those who seek to amend, eliminate or ignore it.

Unlike people in many parts of the world, the US Constitution guarantees Americans the right to bear arms. It is a controversial piece of the Constitution to be sure. I wish America was a country where people didn’t need to bear arms. I wish it was a country where people could leave their front doors open on a warm night, where one could leave one’s wallet on a bus and it would be returned the next day.

But this peaceful America is not the one that George Soros wants. He wants an America where criminals frighten police who are hamstrung by complicit politicians. He wants to fill the streets with miscreants, anarchists, gangsters, lunatics, rapists and other dangerous hooligans.

The riots across America which have been greatly funded by Soros, frighten people of all political affiliations and none. They intimidate those of all racial and religious backgrounds.  No one wants to live in a place where the mobs rule the street. The Police still seem to be taking orders from political forces who do not want to enforce the laws of the land fully and with the force necessary to clear subversive elements form the streets.

It is moments of civil insurrection like this for which the second amendment was formed. Imagine you are a shop owner and a gang of thieves comes to ransack your shop. Would you rather be armed or unarmed? Imagine the urchins came into your house where your children are asleep. Would you rather be armed or unarmed? Imagined they tried to pull you out of a car, beat you and steal the car (something which recently happened to a Trump supporter). Would you rather be armed or unarmed?

This is a time in US history where  sadistic fifth columnists like George Soros are trying  not only to subvert democracy, but also to subvert the peace via paid rioters and extremists. This is when the notion, word and spirit of the 2nd Amendment becomes incredibly important.

The amendment reads:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Right now the Soros gangs are threatening to replace security with the rule of the mob and the jungle. Those who legally have guns must use them to defend their lives when under threat. Just today, some of the scums broke into a building where members of Donald Trump’s transition team were meeting. Why on earth could the police not stop them by any means necessary? Someone was clearly derelict in his or her duty.

For those who naively think that banning the legal ownership of arms will somehow solve America’s violence problems only needs to understand that the US-Mexico border is so pours, that the guns would flow in anyway and they’d end up only in the hands of the criminals who rarely buy guns legally as it is.

I support the rule of law and I am a staunch advocate of peace, but when others seek to subvert the peace and undermine the rule of law, the ordinary, good, decent people need to be given a fighting chance for survival.

This is why I fully support the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution.

In light of the recent ruling (6/4/21 ) by Federal judge Roger Benitez overturning a California firearms ban on assault weapons where he ruled it violates the Constitutional right to bear arms, his words, referring to the Second Amendment, I have a suggestion. In my thesis regarding the Second Amendment I think it will prove his ruling “..right to bear arms” has everything to do with a “militia” and nothing to do with a “person” or individual, which the following will suggest.. In some 225 years neither law professors, academic scholars, teachers, students, lawyers or congressional legislators after much debate… Read more »
