North Korea has issued a statement saying that yesterday’s missile launch which saw a f Hwasong-12 medium-range ballistic missile fly over Japan was merely a “prelude” to an attack on Guam.

According to North Korean media, as cited by Sputnik, the missile launch was,

“…the first step of the military operation of the (Korean People’s Army) in the Pacific and a meaningful prelude to containing Guam”.

North Korea had previously threatened to attack the American island of Guam located in the Pacific ocean earlier this month.

Today, Donald Trump once again reiterated that military options against North Korea remain on the table for the United States.

You would think right? The latest and greatest excuse the Japanese and US militaries have for not shooting down the NK missile is: (sic) they were caught off guard. I shit you not. “Neither the Japanese military, nor the US Pacific Navy, which is on a high state of preparedness, made any effort to shoot down the missile, even when it crossed Japanese air space for the first time. ” “Military sources say Kim had evidently caught them all napping and showed up Washington and Tokyo as short of answers for North Korean missile and nuclear advances.” Hahahahhahahahahahaha! That sounds… Read more »

More like they had to pull out of their subordinate…but I think that’s just a second attempt NOT to admit they couldn’t shoot it down. Remember, the US demoncracy is now populated by bluffing poker players with affirmative action personnel. There is no longer a meritocracy, so now, when being able to do your job or create tech to help you survive is impossible, whoopsie you’re dead if your bluff is called. In every current level, the US gov’t is being challenged domestically and overseas, and are failing the test…only NOW has everyone noticed, it was all smoke and mirrors.… Read more »

Uh, look at the video of the Japanese and US politicos…they are crapping in their pants. I’ve never seen them so transparently afraid and trying not to look so, than they have yesterday and today.

What are we NOT being told? What’s really the risk?

The US-SK invasion rehearsals that are purposely not well-covered by the Western Media are very large. This is the NK pushback against the US increasing its military presence in SK-Japan operations.

This is not weird at all. The US defence system failed to shoot down an NK missile flying over Japan – heads are rolling right now. The Emperor has no clothes which you get and Russia & China want US to learn humility – nothing weird here at all except that the US dare not attack NK and has to learn diplomacy to back down. The rub is that the US Dollar is backed by the Military and nothing else – Chinese want the US Dollar to pass without War to the Chinese Dollar. All part of the game of… Read more »

NO. I think this is real, and the world has finally got the US’ number and they are gonna finally do to the hegemonic US what they’ve done to wedding parties, and funeral processions throughout the ME: Strike them and wipe them out. If you think NOT, look at the body language and facial expressions of the 2 bad actors of the last 100 years: Japan’s Abe and turds, and the US’ Trump and turds. They are afraid. I’ve never seen them this poorly acting like everything is alright. It’s there for all to see. Look. This is NOT just… Read more »

North Koreans are not dumb (highest average IQ in the world – 106), they have been watching what the US did to the countries America doesn’t like , countries unable to defend themselves against the US fire power, like Serbia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya. … Countries destroyed, their leaders killed. If NK makes such big noise, is to tell the US and to the world “We are going to defend ourselves and have the means of doing it”. It is for deterrence purpose. The only reason Kim isn’t dead, like Saddam, Milosevic and Qaddafi, and the country flattened by US bombs,… Read more »

If you want to report official NK state press releases – WOULD YOU PLEASE PROVIDE THE PRESS RELEASE so we can know the context as well as the flat statement that may or may not be fact?

Specially after yesterday Trump was saying “All options are on the table” and today he’s twittering “Talking is not the answer.”

And I’m smelling the stink of Saddam’s WMD in all this shìte!

So much for the “tensions are easing” stories of last week, eh? Told everyone it was temporary.

People need to stop trying to interpret every little lull in the news cycle as a positive development. Foreign affairs don’t work that way.

The appropriate response is to pack up the US military and return home from all areas near NK. Remove THAAD. Send in Mr Tillerson with a sleeping bag and rations plus telephone to negotiate in good faith a ceasefire – with Mr Tillerson authorised by Congress/President to sign – and set up a bilateral trading arrangement based on Nicki Haley’s statement to the UN that the US withdraws unilaterally from sanctions and moves that the UN raises all sanctions and provides 100 million US dollars (in gold) to compensate for past wrongs done to NK. It is just ‘too easy’.… Read more »
