I suspect that there’s an entire department within US intelligence dedicated to taking anything deemed embarrassing and amplifying the themes ad absurdum into the looneytune realm, thereby neutering the original embarrassment in most of the public’s mind. It’s an old, tried and true mind trick.

Funny you mentioned that. Given that there’s nothing really stated in the article, and it is only a link, I went ahead and watched the youtube video that is attached here. Not the whole thing… just fast forwarded. Some things caught my eye that I find very suspicious. For instance, the fact that there are a series of people claiming to have seen evidence of various kinds, but who cannot produce any of the actual evidence.
